Workshop "A Day with Tradition"
The educational workshops "A Day with Tradition" will present various branches of creativity related to the traditional culture of the Greater Poland countryside.
During "Days of Tradition," the District Museum in Leszno will host meetings with artists from the region, individuals for whom tradition has become a passion and often a way of life. They preserve dying skills and passing them on to future generations. The workshops offer an opportunity to experience the unique, intangible heritage of southwestern Greater Poland. They will introduce participants to the world of a bygone village, resonating with bagpipe music, song, and dialect, whose inhabitants were characterized by a fondness for a neat aesthetic evident in traditional costumes and ornamentation.
